6 Places to Shop for Holiday Home Decor on a Budget!

So the Holidays are around the corner and you want to partake in the festive spirit! However, between Black Friday shopping and finding gifts for friends and family (or yourself…I won’t judge!), you may be a little short on cash this month for holiday decorations. Luckily, there are plenty of places to find affordable Holiday home decor and still have some money saved up in your pocket!

1. H&M home

H&M’s home section online is one of my favorite places to look for general home additions. They also have a great selection of decorations that are both chic and reasonably priced to decorate your home for the holidays. They have everything: ranging from winter themed table cloths, candle holders, tree skirts for your Christmas tree and decorative holiday pillows for your living room. Best of all, they have a section on their online website labeled “Holiday décor $2.99 and up”. Doesn’t get much better than that!

2. Target

If I had to shop at only one store for the rest of my life, this would be it! Not only does Target have a great selection of holiday basics from dishes, lights and trees, but you can also stock up on holiday attire (ugly X-mas sweaters) and groceries for hosting a holiday party! They also have a great Dollar section for when you need a quick “White Elephant” or “Secret Snowman” gift. It’s the perfect place to get everything you need all at once for reasonable prices.

3. Beverly’s Fabrics

A DIY’s dream store! They have a great selection of fabrics for creating tablecloths, tree skirts and Holiday blankets, and also great sections for cheap glassware, candleholders and floral arrangements. You’ll find everything you need to make your own decorations and follow some of those Pinterest holiday crafts you have been eying since the Fourth of July… And for the not so DIY savvy (guilty), plenty of already assembled holiday items as well. No Beverly’s in your area? Try Michaels for a similar selection!

4. Bed, Bath and Beyond

While you’re stocking up on everyday dishes and bath towels, why not pick up some Holiday décor while you’re there? If you sign up for their rewards program, you will receive a 20% coupon about once a month that you can use toward purchasing holiday items as well! 20% off a Christmas tree can make you feel a lot better about making the investment. Bonus tip: BB&B usually honors even your expired 20% off coupons so don’t throw them out!72683144719951p

5. Ikea

From gift bags and ribbons for holiday gifts, to tree toppers, garland and reindeer decorations, Ikea has your back for both common home updates and affordable holiday additions! Become an Ikea family (IT’S FREE) and save even more this holiday season while sipping on some free coffee or tea (the perks of being a family member!)

6. Cost Plus World Market

Not only are they known for their unique and affordable décor 365 days of the year, but they also have décor for each of the holidays this season! With great Hanukkah and overall winter sections, this is the perfect place if you are looking for holiday decorations not just geared toward Christmas.

Hopefully with a little more money in your pocket, you can get into the festive spirit of the season without having to compromise a “Winter Wonderland” abode with eating PB&J sandwiches for an entire month. Happy Holidays!!
