Originally from Boston, Sam has lived in a handful of cities and towns over the years, in a wide variety of living situations (some more cohesive than others). After graduating from Hampshire College with a degree in Environmental Science and Spanish, Sam moved to Northampton, MA and became...a cook! After 2+ years in the food service industry, Sam made a choice to pursue a degree from the Culinary Institute of America. He is currently working through the second year of his degree in Culinary Arts, and will graduate in January 2013. In addition to cooking, Sam enjoys playing his guitar, singing, reading, writing, traveling, eating, drinking, and making new friends (preferably all at once!)
