Well its as simple as this. I got an internship at a newspaper and I love it. I’m transitioning out of academia, to the newsroom?- or somewhere else. I’m applying for a teaching assistantship in France next fall and I have an internship at a magazine this summer. I will only be in DC until the end of May. I want to learn French and write. For right now that means no apartment and in a few months, no more hometown. My apartment search advice: Follow your Bliss – a little Joseph Campbell is great in the midst of an apartment search or any life decision.
